Our facilities include professional film upholstery services specializing in the fabrication, modification, and restoration of upholstered elements for film sets and hero props. We cover everything from furniture, seating, chairs, and wall panels to custom-upholstered constructions and patinated surfaces.

We understand the specific needs of film production — we create both period-accurate and contemporary upholstery that matches the visual style of the project, camera requirements, and actor comfort. Our work is designed to function reliably under filming conditions while maintaining a strong visual presence on camera.

We collaborate closely with production designers and set designers to fine-tune materials, colors, textures, and surface finishes so everything looks authentic and visually balanced on screen. Choosing the right padding and construction is part of the process, depending on whether the element is intended for actor interaction, long-term set use, or detailed camera shots.

We produce both soft and rigid upholstered surfaces, safety edges for stunt scenes, and specially shaped elements for precise actor handling. When needed, we create multiple versions of the same upholstered piece — for example, a detailed version for close-ups, a more durable version for physical action, or a patinated version with a strong “lived-in” look.

Film upholstery places demands that standard furniture production does not address — materials must behave correctly under lighting, avoid unwanted reflections, remain visually readable on camera, and provide comfort for performers. We therefore pay close attention to textures, light absorption, and color stability across different lighting conditions.

We provide a complete service from design and fabrication to on-set installation. If adjustments are needed during shooting, our upholsterers can respond quickly and fine-tune details directly on set. This ensures continuity, shooting efficiency, and consistent visual quality throughout production.
